What will you be learning?

The Apprenticeship Programmes are made up of a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ), Key Skills and where relevant, a Technical Certificate.  The programme will help you to achieve the required level of Key Skills which match the job you’re training for and we can support you even if you didn’t achieve the grades you wanted at school.

Apply from September as some trades can fill very quickly. All courses start in September with the colleges.

Time Slot: Daytime.

Who can do it?

Age range: 16 - 19.
Entry Requirements: All applicants will need to pass the CITB test (level of the test grade C+ Maths, English) Please note, applicants only get one chance to take the CITB test.

Qualification:  AAT Level 2 NVQ in Accounting (10029400) .
Awarding Body: AAT.
Type: NVQ.
Sector: Accounting and Finance .

What happens when you have finished?

What other learning could you do:
The course offers you a specialist work-based qualification to support a career in accounting or to progress onto studying for an NVQ level 3 in accounting or related subjects such as payroll administration.

With further training, you could continue to develop your career in accounting by working as a Financial Assistant or Account Manager.

The course is work based which means you can earn and learn at the same time whilst developing the skills, understanding and knowledge that many employers in the financial sectors are looking for.
